I will be heading to Disney for the next three days to take part in the National Crittenton Foundation‘s annual conference.
You might remember that I spoke at their meeting last year and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Being in that room, with all those women who knew the statistics and the outlook for women and girls in the country backwards and forwards? It made me want to be more than “just” a blogger. I needed some credentials – hence, my decision to go to graduate school.
I will be joining them as they announce some exciting news (it’s not public yet) but I’ll be posting a ton once I get to the room. I plan on relaxing a bit, writing, missing my babies, and of course, soaking up some sun. My hope is to meet more cool people like Lisette and bring back their stories for you so that they are NOT invisible.
