#SurvivalGuide Chat: How Can You Practice Gratitude On A Daily Basis?

For our next #SurvivalGuide chat, we’ll be talking with Lorraine Miller from @NourishByNature. She’ll be helping us see how we can have more happy days in our future (read: less stress), and pass on a spirit of gratitude for our kids.

I was fortunate to receive Lorraine’s Gratitude Journal and have been using it to write down all the things I’m grateful for. The first couple days I was struggling to think of the things I wanted to put down. Am I grateful because I have a house? That seems too broad. Am I grateful my kids are healthy? Of course. I tried to think of things I don’t often notice because they are so ho-hum to me.

After a couple weeks of jotting down all the things I’m grateful for, I realize my life is filled with blessings I take for granted. I’m sure if you did this exercise for a few weeks, you’d come to the same realization.

I highly recommend you join us on this chat – I’m sure it will change the way you see things!

  1. I do a pray/gratitude journal to document everything that I am thankful for. You truly have a new appreciation for your blessings once you get in the habit of writing them and keeping track of them. Can’t wait for the chat tonight!
